Shimmery natural day look

I'm a sucker for natural day time looks, so when I got the Naked palette from Urban Decay for Christmas, I was over the moon and couldn't wait to try it out.
For this quick daytime look; I used the first colour that I noticed when I unwrapped and opened it for the first time. This palette has been on my wish list for quite a while but I've never seemed to get around to buying it, so my husband beat me to it and gave it to me as a special christmas surprise.

I used 4 things for this look excluding brushes:

For foundation; I used the MUA Matte Foundation in shade number 3 'Gentle Fawn' which I think is an extremely good match for my skin colour. I use a flat foundation brush to apply and then blend it with a buffing brush.

For eye shadow; I used 'Sidecar' which is a gorgeous shimmery peach/gold colour that glided on with ease as UD eye shadows famously do. The texture allows you to apply a highly pigmented amount with one stroke. You can take a closer look at the palette here.

My mascara of choice and go-to mascara at the moment was Benefit's They're Real. You can read my post about this mascara here.

On my lips; I used the MUA lip trio in 'Temptress' which features 3 lush red-toned lip colours. I used the left one for this look. On the lips, it is not as red as it looks in the packaging but it has a nice shine to it.

Easy, quick and ready to go. I think this is a naturally pretty look and that's why I wanted to share it.

Thanks for reading!
