March Beauty Faves & Chit Chat

It's warming up outside and winter is fast becoming a faded memory, finally! March was a busy month for me and I kept it pretty neutral and basic when it came to the beauty products that I used.

How's it going
I've been busy sorting out my house by de-cluttering and re-decorating in some areas to try and give my house a more intimate 'homey' feeling. I've really been trying to concentrate on adding small things that can make a difference to how a room feels. When I visit other peoples homes I try to notice as many of the little touches that they've added to make their homes more personal to them. It really gets me thinking about what I want in my own home and what I can do to make it more mine.

March also ushered in some new projects at work so I was really busy with those which is why my posts in the last month have been a bit sketchy. Sorry about that but a person can only get so much done in a space of time. What's been keeping you busy this month? Have you had any new projects brought on by the new season?

Beauty faves
Onto my favourites out of my beauty collection for this month; starting from left to right.

Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Lotion - I use this sparingly because it's difficult to get a hold of over here. I'm still totally in love with the scent and will be extremely sad when I do eventually use it all up.

Rimmel London Blush - this shade is much more flattering for my skin tone than pink toned blushes and allows me to have a slightly flushed look whilst keeping it pretty neutral.

They're Real Mascara - quite possibly the best mascara I've owned and I've used it so much. It's pretty empty now so I'll have to go shopping for some more.

Make Up Academy Eyeshadow Palette - the more I use this palette, the more impressed I am with it. The colours are so pretty and extremely long lasting. To put this on my favourites list for this month was certainly a no-brainer.

L'Oréal True Match foundation - I've been using the same foundation all month so that I could really test it out properly after I posted about it here and I'm still very pleased with it. I think the colour is probably a shade too dark to be honest but I don't mind as it gives me a 'just returned from holiday' glow.

Essence Fixing Compact Powder - I think the main reason why my foundation lasts all day is simply a result of using it in combination with this fixing powder. It's so inexpensive and in my opinion; serious value for money.

So that's my round up of what I've been using in March. What were your go-to beauty products in March?

Thanks for reading!
