Snowy sky blue nails

Whilst shopping with my daughter recently, I happened to spot this nail polish on sale and thought that it would be perfect for the holiday season as it looks so christmasy. At 50% of the normal price, I couldn't let it go.

With the light blue colour and white geometrical shapes, it reminds me of snowfall in a classic winter scene and it's just lovely. It's by Maybelline, is part of the Color Show Acid Wash Effect range and is colour number 247 - Ripped Tide. I applied one coat because I didn't want it to look too cluttered and I applied a clear top coat to finish it off.
Like many others, it didn't last long (about 2 days) but that's nothing new for me. I don't know where I go wrong with nail polish but it really doesn't last long, even when I use a base and multiple coats of polish and top coat.
In the end, I think this nail polish is lovely and like I said, spot on for the holiday season.

Thanks for reading!
