My name is Leanne. I was born and raised in England and moved to The Netherlands in 2007.
I have two beautiful daughters who I love to bits and an adoring husband. Our family is completed by a cat and two dogs, each with their own kooky personalities ☺

A few things to know about me
I love to draw even though I don't get much time to do so any more alongside family and work, but when I do get the opportunity I am Manga crazy. 9 out of the 10 drawings I do are manga inspired. I just love the expression that you can create with this style of drawing.

When I was younger I was a bit of a tomboy and although I grew out of the whole baggy clothes thing when I hit my late teens (thank goodness!), I must admit that I didn't begin to get in touch with my girly side until my first daughter was born. All of a sudden I wasn't so against pink and girly things and I haven't looked back since.
In November 2014, I had been with my husband for 10 years! Wow, such a long time and definitely the longest time I'd spent with someone so we must be doing something right ☺
Music has a magical key to my soul or so it seems. I can honestly say that I do not have a favourite genre as it always depends on what mood I'm in and what I'm doing. I know that if I am having the crappiest day ever, that I can pop on some tunes and everything else melts away for those precious moments. I don't know of anything else that works quite as well for me.
I am a sci-fi and fantasy geek and I'm not ashamed to admit it. It is also one of the biggest things that my husband and I have in common so perhaps that's why we've been together so long. We're both really into gadgets and technology as well so try to keep up to date with our tech.
Absolutely love reading and own so many books that they are literally everywhere in our home. This is a passion of ours that we have also passed onto our children who also have impressive book collections of their own. A library would be the perfect addition for us but unfortunately we don't have the space so will have to continue our never-ending search for storage solutions.
I love DIY. As a woman I am extremely proud to say that I know my way around the tool shed and when I get the time, I have no reservations about rolling up my sleeves and working on any DIY projects that present themselves.
