L'Oréal Casting Crème Gloss hair colour review

I have been colouring my hair myself for years. In my late teens, I was a big fan of being blonde which most people I meet now can't believe until I provide photographic proof. Since I've been older though, I prefer to go for the darker look and of course, I have those pesky grey hairs now which tend
to make my hair look duller.
I have no problem with getting older or even going grey, but I still want to hair to have a certain amount of vitality to it.
This time I have chosen for the cherry chocolate (360) colour crème from L'Oreal, as it doesn't contain ammonia and is meant to be kinder to your hair instead of being harsh like other colourants.

So this is my hair before colouring and I think there's only one word that can completely describe it... dull! I had my hair cut shorter not too long ago, so colouring it should do the trick at completing the look.

This formula is very easy to use especially if you compare it to the colourants I used to use when I was a teen. They would end up everywhere, but because this is a more creamy formula it doesn't splash or slop around much at all. I think that I only had one little spill during the whole process, which luckily didn't land on my clothes and was really easy to clean up.
It didn't take too long to apply the formula to my hair and I had to leave it on for 20 minutes.
I think the whole process with colouring, waiting and rinsing etc took about an hour.

Ok, so now it's done and I'm really happy with the results. My hair is still a little wet in this photo but it gives a good impression of how my hair looks styled as well.
The grey hairs are no longer visible and I think my hair looks like it has a new lease of life.
Under normal lighting, you can't really see any cherry colour but you can in the sunlight.

The set includes:
Colouring cream
Mixing solution
Moisturising conditioner
Gloves
Instructions for use

This was certainly not as harsh as others I have used in the past and you are left with soft conditioned hair afterwards instead of hardened hair due to the chemicals.
I must also note that the conditioner is a lot bigger than the ones I am used to getting with home colouring sets and that the gloves were of very good quality and fit (a woman's hand) well.

I am very happy with my new hair colour and hope you found this post useful!
